Director of Communications
Mrs. Reisig graduated from St. Agnes Academy in Alliance Nebraska. She graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in History with a specialization in African-American studies. She finished in the top 5% of her class and holds a Master in Business Administration degree with a dual specialization in Human Resources and Nonprofit Management from Walden University. Mrs. Reisig is a member of Phi Alpha Theta and Beta Gamma Sigma.
Prior to working with Scottsbluff Public Schools, Mrs. Reisig was employed with the Community Action Partnership of Western Nebraska (prev. Panhandle Community Services) for 10 years. During her interim, she worked to begin the AmeriCorps Nebraska Reads program. The program partners with local schools to encourage literacy among students and their families. She also worked for 5 ½ years as a Head Start Teacher. She spent her final 3 years with the organization as the Community Relations Coordinator.
Mrs. Reisig is a Class XVII graduate and member of the board of directors for Leadership Scotts Bluff, member, treasurer and public relations chair of Soroptimist International of Scotts Bluff County, member of Panhandle Business and Professional Women and co-chair for the Educational Service Unit Region 13 Planning Team.
